Dr. Earl Bracy is a licensed Clinical psychologist specializing in working with families and children and adolescents with a range of socio-emotional problems. Dr. Bracy has been an independent contractor for Wraparound Milwaukee for the past 20 years. He consults for several social service agencies in the Milwaukee area. Dr. Bracy incorporates a holistic approach and he utilizes the medical model due to his strong medical background. He was trained as a combat medic and surgical technician in the United States Army. He worked as a surgical technician for four years at St. Joseph’s Hospital and four years at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He also operated the Heart-Lung machine as a cardiovascular perfusionist for fifteen years at several hospitals in the Milwaukee area. He is also empathetic, compassionate, giving of his time, respectful of his clients, and he uses his skills for the furtherance of the individuals he serves. With extensive training in sexual deviant behaviors, Dr. Bracy has worked with and counseled hundreds of adolescent sex offenders. He has also advanced his training in grief and bereavement and he avails himself to many families who are experiencing the pain of grief and loss.
Dr. Bracy has an active private practice and he is the author of three books and is in the process of writing more. He has also taken on the rewarding task of supervising interns and practicum students.
Dr. Bracy is also spiritually based and he utilizes a spiritual component with clients who wants to utilize this modality.
Dr. Bracy received his B.A. degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. He received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Bracy obtained his pre-doctoral training at Ethan Allen School for Boys and Southern Oaks Girls School. He also obtained his post- doctoral training at Ethan Allen School as well.
Presently, Dr. Bracy continues to provide valuable services to needed families in Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
